Re: REAP CORNER
This little combo helped to move music along for a while, nearly forgotten how good this album is.
Anybody remember the general anticipation awaiting the arrival of this album? Everyone seemed to be talking about it when it arrived.
Can remember going to a friend’s band practice in his car and singing Why Don’t We Do It In The Road at the top of our voices with the windows wide open and not a mobile phone to be seen anywhere.

Pulsar - Halloween 1977
Listening to this French prog album on youtube. It's all right, but I don't need to own it.

Listening to this now, lots of technical prowess on display, lots of noisy racket but have they forgotten the tunes? I reserve judgement for the time being.

Been looking through some old Mojos recently and I noticed that 'In My Life' was voted as the best song in their 100 Greatest Songs of All Time feature that they did years ago. Not sure that I'd agree but it is a good song. Great album.

I like all of them in mono better, except for The White Album.

Always felt that this lot brought something a little different to the table. Got most of their albums but this is a nice comp. All their albums seem to differ quite a bit, never quite know which Primal Scream you’re going to get, quite like that.

Previous attempts to tune in to The Enid's offerings have failed (bland and unintersting) - having just read reviews of this one thought it might be more up my street.

I actually didn't mind that one! Best I've heard of theirs anyway and I shall give it another listen or 2.

Spanish hard rock, bluesy, psychy.... debut album released at the beginning of this year I believe.
It's actually really good - sounds like it belongs in the 70s.
Recommended! (Although obviously not for those who don't like modern music with strong influences from the dim distant past.)
Blue Merrow - Blue Merrow

Hawkwind Warrior on the Edge of Time 1975
The last with Lemmy. The usual Michael Moorcock Elric stuff, some cool tunes, nice LP cover. Listening to Steven Wilson's 5.1 mix.

It’s easily their best. Twin guitars, classical piano bits, what’s not to like? The next one Aerie Fayrie Nonsense is pretty good too.

Re: REAP CORNER
A compilation supposedly put togther as Jimi's final album. Quite like it but not as good as the first three by any means.
Anyone still play Jimi these days?
