I would be very worried if "Jason" was sorry about my feelings, but there's no accounting for feelings.

Spiritualized took all the worst elements of Spacemen 3 and amplified them. You know, the stupid "Jesus" stuff and the embarrassing gospel backup singers. Somehow they blew them out beyond the limits of comedy. They also, to my mind, participated in the horrifying bombast of the time exemplified by other embarrassing bands such as: Mogwai, Godspeed You Black Emperor, and that appalling band from Iceland everyone likes.

But because I am a magnanimous person who endeavors to do good and be nice, I forgive "Jason," Spiritualized, and all their deluded fans.

For me 2000 - 2021

I would be pushed to list any from most of those years....

I have bought about ~~three~~ four new albums since 2000 - I forgot this masterpiece from 2015

Still, I have started off 2021 well with this purchase:

Dinosaur Jr and Built to Spill would be it for new bands methinks...

I think the 90s was a marked improvemnt on the 80s, where I found I was really alienated from the current scene. I am 58 and started collecting CDs in 1990. Lived in Tokyo, the best city for CDs in the world. I found I opened up to new music, even though I was also busy exploring the past. In 95-97 I was in London, right in the middle of Cool Britannia. It was all very exciting. I'll list what I got from your list and then what I bought, but got rid of later on in my many purges.
