A great happy album with plenty of boogey

Deke's first solo album - helped out by Martin Ace of Man, Micky Gibbons (Badfinger) and Byron Berline (The Flying Burrito Brothers)

Great to see you here - very glad you made it. Sounds like you had a good time with Johnny the Slider!

As always! He is a damn fine host. If at times a tad overgenerous with the alcoholic drink, which is fine unless you are ten years sober...

That is nothing said against the fellow!

ha yes Mr Slider can drink - was witnessed that a few years ago in NYC village.

mwhahaha.

i can drink a fair amount for a woman from new orleans. ahem.

I had a small tot of rum on Christmas day. About half a shot glass tumbler.

SO far it has had no effect along the lines of hoisting me off the wagon.

Tonight I am on the fresh iced tea and have a very nice low alcohol lager chilling in the fridge for side two.

I would gladly return to a life of heavy boozing if it is the case that medical science has abolished hangovers. I suppose I would have read about that in the newspapers if it had happened.

*sigh*

Nothing Is Happening reminds me of Pictures of Matchstick Men by Status Quo. With a dash of Gilbert O'Sullivan.

After ten years I believe I have changed my relationship with booze, but I don't at all want to test that hypothesis. It can stay in the bottle.
