i really struggle to describe how much i love this album, what it does to me.

thank y'all, as ever. a musical joy, in perfect company.

i hope everyone has a great rest of. we have charlie the 8 ft reaper hanging from the oak tree, we have bats and lights and stuff, but chi chi thinks we need more day-glo webs on the azaleas. we get into halloween here, mwhaha.

Ken Craddock – guitars, Hammond organ, piano, vocals
Colin Gibson – bass guitar
Graham Bond – alto saxophone, Hammond organ, piano, vocals
Steve Gregory – tenor saxophone, flutes
Bud Beadle – baritone, alto & tenor saxophones
Diane Stewart – vocals
Catherine James – vocals
Neemoi "Speedy" Acquaye – drums, percussion, African drums


Additional personnel:
Denny Laine – guitars, piano, vocals
Rick Grech – bass guitar
Harold McNair – tenor & alto saxophones, flutes

Clearly not the original Airforce band that Chris' family and neighbours saw live at the Royal Albert in January 1970 but great stuff nonetheless

Graham has a hold over this album - a big influence

I'm quite sure this is my first listen, straight away it's got a bit of a good time feel. Vaguely reminiscent of Delaney and Bonnie so far.

This groove is very typical of Bond's solo work - I love it!
