The above is the tracklisting of the second LP of On Stage.

Interesting - two songs I associate with Jeff Beck.

Ubiquitous, also.

He worked with Beck and Rainbow. And engineered the Groundhogs album we had recently. And produced the first two Black Sabbath albums with Ronnie we voted on for tonight.

The man's everywhere!

I shall look out for him in Poundland...

Beck is a phenomenally gifted guitarist, think he is in total control in a way that only Hendrix surpassed. Sadly, he doesn't come up with many great compositions.

Blackmore while undoubtedly a great guitarist has to work at it more, he lacks the flow Beck has. He has a much better compositional skill and a winning way with a riff.

I am winding down with a track or two from On Stage. The expanded version on Spotify.

On The Greensleeves and the Iced Tea.

Onto 'Still I'm Sad', again from On Stage, then I'm outta here.

Wow - hard, heavy rock, Friday night, and I am totally on my own. I feel fifteen again!!!

Niiiiice. On Stage, especially expanded, is worth investigating.

Poorly received at the time due to short running time.

Give it a spin. Or more probably, a stream.

Right, I'm outta here - just need to find the lightswitch.

Cheers everybody. Happy birthday Ronnie.

To absent friends.
