One track - "Gondwana"

If you haven't got the album and using Spotify it's obviously track 2....!

Looking forward to this muchly.

The 'prequel', Agharta, was both my first Miles album and my first jazz album.

Listening to disc one now to get “warmed up.” My copy is the more recent Japanese BSCD2 format. It is playable on any cd player btw. Superb sound.

Recorded during Davis' electric period, Pangaea is the second of two concerts he performed on February 1, 1975, at The Festival Hall, Osaka, Japan. The first concert was released as Agharta

This is a remarkable feat - two great double albums from a single day!

If I had to chose one I'd go for Agharta but that's me!

Nonetheless, both are robust and we are in for a treat!

Two great albums - but for me Agharta has the edge

Beautiful flute from Sonny Fortune at the beginning and that fascinating bass line.
