Although they have a rich heritage, the Russians' film output has not traveled well. I must have seen fewer than 20, and I have seen a lot of stuff. And yes, I fell asleep to ALL the Tarkovskys, so naturally I have left them out.

i am slightly better at russian novelists, but that's becuz my ma was a freak for em. my ma had the cynical side that was all "suffering is the origin of consciousness" or whatever the orginal quote is. my ma was not exactly tiptoe-thru-the-tulips, i however, was. mwhaha.
let's just say i was and am a mix.

If you can pinpoint the greatest novelist of all, Dostoyevsky would be a good choice, I think. I have only read "Crime and Punishment", but I landed on his complete works in Danish translation, and they are now sitting on my bookshelf, just waiting to be read.

1. select an image from google image: star wars 1977
2. left click on the image, it will appear larger on the right of the screen
3. right click on the larger image, a pop up menu will appear
4. left click third option from bottom, "copy image web address" (url)
5. left click "img" from the options above your reply box
6. insert url between the two "img" brackets, by right clicking and choosing insert
7. et voilà:
