I'll be Ed Norton. I can be the brooding, silent psychopath and you can be the vocal, noisy psychopath.

Plus my wrists are too thin to be Brad Pitt.

Thin wrists can be a blessed relief.

Do you always call him that when he dares to give you a reacharound?

I suppose it depends if he's standing in front of you, or behind of you - but what do I know?

I had asked (as a couple of people requested) for this to be moved to classic threads...my PM was read but ignored so I presume it can't go there...never mind...I suppose it has to stay out to make room for the best of the fighting threads when that gets there!

It's there now.

I asked Jethro...it doesn't matter...it's not important...I only asked because a couple of people asked if I would ask!

You did the right thing in asking, Sensi.

I certainly think this thread deserves 'classic' status.

If it is not 'evelvated' thus, I hope someone archives the thread on their computer, for posterity (while maintaining the posters' privacy, of course).

Can I have another ten?

I have a rediculously self inflated sense of my own importance and think everyone's interested in everything I do.

Why not? I slipped an extra ten in, somewhere.

No, it should be elevated to classic thread. After all, a lot of people have poured out some really personal stuff on this thread.

Or maybe that's a reason why it shouldn't be made a classic? :?

When I put the thread up I thought it might get people to see that there is a life outside of these boards and the people in it..that frequent here...also have other stuff and problems going on in their life..it was to try and get people to see what others here are like...to get to know each other instead of fighting...it was getting like a fight between mates in a pub here and I was tired of dodging flying glasses and bottles that were being aimed at me yet I had chuff all to do with the fight...I just thought a sort of anti fight thread might get the balance...a bit hippyish but it worked for a short while! :(

This thread could be also viewed as a kind of (limited) form of therapy.
Getting some stuff of ones chest is always good for the soul, innit?

and thus let's continue. I'll start with another ten.

1. I've been drunk everyday for the last four days and i'm pissed right now.
2. Yesterday i bought the first Rap/Hip hop album in my life (Straight outta Compton- NWA)
3. Yesterday I realised that I've wasted six years of my life on unrequited love.
4. I smoked nicotine this week for the first time since january.
5. I finally regret being stoned constantly during university.
6. I despise sentimentality.....yet i think I may be better off if I was more sentimental.
7. My dad once tried to chat up Kate Bush.
8. I have a best friend and I've recently realised this may actually be quite special and not to be taken for granted.
9. My best friend annoys the fuck out of me sometimes.
10. I've shoplifted once in my life at the age of 21.

Good idea

1 I panic constantly about the security of good things in my life, nearly but not quite to the point that it stops me enjoying them.
2 If I had my ten favourite people gathered together in a pub I'd probably still chat to the barmaids. (Thanks to one of my favourite people for pointing that out)
3 I love my life and hold people on this board partially responsible for the turns it has taken. But I'm bored of this place and it's only really those 3 or 4 people keeping me here.
4 I get more offended by self righteousness than self interest.
5 Gambling is probably the only vice that has never really interested me.
6 Well apart from the non-monetary bets I've got on the BCB Fantasy League.
7 As recent chat up lines go 'Sorry I thought you were a lesbian' has been my most succesful
8 I wish I could draw and am incredibly impressed by anyone who can express themselves through art
9 The fact that i clearly have an important guiding role in the lives of several dozen young people both terrifies me and makes me elated every time it is demonstrated to me.
10 Whenever i dream of being at home it is almost always my flat during university.

1. I'm tired of my kids constantly arguing and want to run off for a few days to stop being dragged in to "sort it out"
2. I'm tired of coming here to find arguments like I get at home off the kids
3. I play 'Rain' by Blind Melon a few times a day because it's how I feel right now
All I can say is that my life is pretty plain

I like watchin' the puddles gather rain

And all I can do is just pour some tea for two

and speak my point of view

But it's not sane, It's not sane

I just want some one to say to me

I'll always be there when you wake

Ya know I'd like to keep my cheeks dry today

So stay with me and I'll have it made

And I don't understand why I sleep all day

And I start to complain that there's no rain

And all I can do is read a book to stay awake

And it rips my life away, but it's a great escape

escape......escape......escape......

All I can say is that my life is pretty plain

ya don't like my point of view

ya think I'm insane

Its not sane......it's not sane

4. I think I'm a bit down
5. I'm pissed off with not being able to work and not getting any sick pay
6. I'm fucked off with bickering
7. I can't be arsed with this place any longer
8. I can't be arsed to carry on this post
