1. I'm not bothered that I'm 39 in a few months!

2. I'm not bothered that I will be the mother of a 16 year old by that time

3. I lied in 1 and 2

4. I'm chuffed I'm going to see Audioslave but not fussed about seeing The Foo Fighters!

5. I have a nasty temper and vicious tongue in a fight!

6. I cook a mean spaghetti!

7. I love my job even though it's the minimum wage and all I sell is Wedgwood pottery!

8. I miss Pagan...I wish he would post back!

9. I don't like getting out of bed in the winter but dive out at the crack of sparrow fart in the summer!

10. I'm sick of kids thinking music is just for them!

1. I am a complete over-reactor in an argument but I forgive and forget in a hearbeat.
2. I'm more like my mum than I ever want to admit.
3. My favourite time of the day to be in the pub is noon on a Saturday.
4. I love the smell of tar.
5. Sometimes I just stand outside and breathe in.
6. I'm terrrified of heights. Terrified.
7. I only got as far in my job as I did by exploiting Americans' love of the Irish.
8. I really am sometimes not as nice as I might appear.
9. I could eat ham sandwiches til the cows (or pigs) come home.
10. Being a mum is the hardest thing I have ever done. Ever. And sometimes it makes me cry.

8. In June we will have been married 25 years..

9. My feet are size 11 UK (or size 12 US)

10. Curryholic though I am, my favourite food is my mum's meat & potato pie.


BONUS BALL: I lost my left knacker to cancer in 1991. I still haven't found it yet. (oh split my sides...)

1. When I'm feeling down, I thank God I have a pet duck.
2. Our rabbit, Fluffy, who's Mum and Dad were killed by an unknown assailant in November, has been rescued by the local rabbit rescue so is going to have a new friend called Sam.
3. I'm desperate for a Mazda Xedos 9 2.3 Miller Supercharged engine type car, but can't justify the cost as I only ever drive to the station 2 miles away.
4. I keep thinking it's Tuesday.
5. My vinyl is in alpahabetical order, but only half my CDs are.
6. At 48, I still feel about 20, and I am worried that I'll still feel like this at the age when death is imminent, and will be really really scared.
7. I have owned Neil Young's Shakey biography for about 2 years, and haven't read any of it.
8. I wish I had sold my MOJO magazines before the bottom fell out of the market. I still have very one.
9. I can't play the guitar. Or anything. My sister has grade 8 in piano, flute, recorder and teaches music.
10. I can't believe how much I love my kids.

Join the club. I'm 48 too and I was talking about this to someone at work this week (only I think I said I still felt 19). I don't think it will change. Some of the older (60's to 80's) patients we get say they still feel about 20 too.

1. I'm really scared about the future, especially my job (short term) and my inevitable physical and mental decline.

2. My teeth hurt, but I'm scared of the dentist.

3. I carry a torch for a woman who I haven't seen in 26 years, and only ever kissed a couple of times. I still adore her.

4. I don't drink enough. I can't because I'm 'responsible'.

5. I believe that most of the people who I know only want to know me for what I can do for them, not because they like me.

6. I'd like to be around when the world ends, or some similar apocalyptic, civilisation crushing event happens.

7. The best part of the week is when I get home from work on Saturdays and eat a couple of sausage rolls, and have a cup of coffee.

8. I wish I could afford the series UFO on box set.

9. I wake up sometimes convinced I'm having a heart attack.

10. The best bit about me is my blue, blue eyes, I'm told.

the first 10 things that seemed to say anything about myself that came to mind

1 I'm shorter than the fish but Grollope doesn't realise
2 I have at least a dozen filed CDs still in the wraps
3 I've had more good experiences in the 15 months since i turned 30 than in all my post-uni 20s
4 I've told people here who i haven't met things that my closest family don't know about me
5 I spend too much on clothes and not enough on travel
6 I never realised how much loving your job could do to your life
7 I'd rather know a little about loads of things than know much about anything. To the point where people think i'm being disingenuous when i say i'm not that into certain things.
8 I'm only ever sarcastic with people i like and SBA
9 I enjoying flirting with unobtainable people and fretting over obtainable ones.
10 My job makes me feel really old and really young a dozen times every day

4. The first comic book I ever bought with my own money was Avengers #93. (Double-sized issue. Part of the Kree-Skrull War storyline. Neal Adams artwork. Ant-Man goes inside The Vision to see what makes him tick).

5. I couldn't get a date to my high school prom.

6. I have acted in TV and radio commercials.

7. I have a green belt in the tae kwon do style of karate.

8. I was in a horrible carnival ride accident when I was 13 and have the scar to prove it.

9. I am known as being the best appellate lawyer in my county.

10, I once rendered Harlan Ellison momentarily speechless at a SF convention. (by asking him if he would be writing any more comic books--apprently he wasn't very pleased any of the ones he'd written by that time).
