Re: Soft Machine Triple Echo booklet autograph project
Okay, it's been almost a year, so time for an update. The Sinclairs have been dealing with personal and health issues, plus their computer and Internet access are almost nil, but Heather did drop me a line today to let me know that all is well, both with them and my booklet. She included a photo of Carol Grimes holding the booklet, so yes, it's still in good hands! Heather's next UK visit is in late September, so a few more signatures, then finally back to me. (I don't know if she contacted Mike Wedgwood in Denmark or Cousin Dave in Japan, but I'd like those as well if possible.) As for the full list of new sigs, I said I'd just like to be surprised when I finally see it. Whatever I get by this point will be fine with me.
"Quite."

Re: Soft Machine Triple Echo booklet autograph project
It's being mailed back to me tomorrow (which I guess is today in the UK). Two years is long enough to exhaust all the possibilities. I asked not to be told everyone who participated so I can be surprised. But once it arrives, a scan will be posted. Stay tuned!

Re: Soft Machine Triple Echo booklet autograph project
She wasn't able to make contact with Charles, or Bill MacCormick. (I thought Manzanera was holding onto it for a few weeks so he could sign it, but it was Bill Bruford. So I ain't complaining.) If either of them ever contacts me (or you via FB), I could always send it back. But Heather has been kind enough to keep an eye on this thing for two years now, and I would like to relieve her of the responsibility.
The other part of this saga I want to hear about, how some of these people either reconnected or met up in the first place. She said that this brought her to finally meeting Carol Grimes, which was a pleasure for both of them. I asked her to hold onto the stories until after I get to see it, and then I'll want to hear all about it!

I have no idea why it took me so long to think of this, but the other day, I told someone that I plan to frame it, and the lightbulb goes off in my head: Pete Frame! The one and only! He got back to me today, and he'll be checking in on this thread for the update.

Re: Soft Machine Triple Echo booklet autograph project
It arrived at my doorstep today. And it is fucking glorious.
I don't have a scanner, so I'm meeting up with my friend who did the initial scan, probably Thursday, unless he can make time earlier. For now, I'll say this much: a total of 15 new sigs have been added. Three of them I can't quite make out, so I asked Heather to tell me who they are, and I'll list them once I know. Maybe if I stare at them long enough and look over the names on the family tree, I'll figure it out. There again, Allan Holdsworth saw Andy Summers' sig and thought it was his own! Whoever they are, I'm grateful that they made the time to do this. And thanks to all of you, if you're reading this thread. "Christmas In July" came in May this year!

Wow, this is really cool.
Let U be the set of all united sets, K be the set of the kids and D be the set of things divided.
Then it follows that ∀ k ∈ K: K ∈ U ⇒ k ∉ D
Then it follows that ∀ k ∈ K: K ∈ U ⇒ k ∉ D
