Both of these are quite adventurous. It's practically a toss up. Still, going with A.

Again, 2 interesting lists with a mix of stuff.
A has quite a groovy feel, soulful bookends with the ZZ and Johnny B. I must look into the latter's solo discography more, looks promising. The rest is enjoyable and fun, the Barretto smokes as does the guitar on the Moby Grape.
B is a bit more introspective at points in the middle, but they pique my interest in those groups. The very melodramatic Leyton is fun, though the Z&A and Raconteurs picks lose me a bit. Nice Elliot Smith pick and Nino to finish.

A hard choice, but maybe A.

Inconsistency abounds. Both have some adventurous choices, but I want to like the obscurities more than I do. Picking Flo & Eddie? Great. That particular track? Meh. Strong up the middle with the Grape and Barretto.

B, I guess, for being strong at both ends. Ferrer gets it over the top.

This is a really tough match for me so credit to both pickers for making it so hard.
I like A's funky flavours a lot, I especially like the Hill, F & E and Bristol tracks. The rest is all fine too.
B took a while to get going, The Raconteurs track is a bit of a dog, but from track 4 onwards it began to cast a rather delightful spell.

Very tough...but there's a bit more for me in A

B's list looked like an exercise in wilful obscurity.

I was surprised I liked the Flo & Eddie track but I did and Operator Music Band might be worth checking out perhaps.
Not blown away by anything else here although The Sundays I like for nostalgic reasons.

Patchy but better than B which is flirting with the dark side a bit proving that the devil doesn't necessarily have all the best tunes.

A reminds me of an uninviting card at Fakenham. Square with many hurdles and obscure, with ideas above its station and far too out of the way to ever bother with again.

B is Nakayama Racecourse. Slightly exotic, massive expectations (like the capacity of 165000) but by no means a thoroughbred and leaves me tearing up the slip after another fruitless exercise.

B. At least it has a soupçon of credibility in not containing Moby Grape

Always! It's what defines these things!

A is a much stronger list to these shell-likes. B is adventurous - but then so was Eddie the Eagle

Dusty is doing a lot of the heavy lifting for B in terms of immediate appeal. Whilst much of the remainder was interesting it was all a bit worthy. A hit the deck running with the ZZ Hill, and whilst not all of it hit the mark the double whammy finish of Sundays and Johnny Bristol see it home.

This comes down to Omaha vs Johnny Remember Me for me, which is a difficult choice. (Not interested in any of the others).

I enjoyed list A apart from the Moby Grape and the Johnny Bristol but B is my favourite of all the lists so far. I particularly liked the run of 5, 6 and 7.

I like list A most when it gets funky with the likes of ZZHill, Flo and Eddie and Johnny Bristol. The latin sounds of Ray Baretto was also enjoyable as was the krautrock feel of Operator Music Band. The Sundays track was nice too, not a band I know much by. All in all a very nice selection.

List B really didn't do lot for me to be honest but the Bar Kokhba track caught my ear.

A is definitely touching base with most of my musical tastes so I look at B for a bit of a shake up - I just hate Johny Remember Me in any version but Z&A and Bar Kokhba were blowing a bit of dust out of the speakers....
I'll be a devil and go for:
