B on the grounds that A is being so obvious and safe that it has to be a parody.
Like fast-moving clouds casting shadows against a hillside, the melody-loop shuddered with a sense of the sublime, the awful unknowable majesty of the world.

A has stayed a bit too safe, even with the chance to chuck in some surprises with the additional tracks.
B has grown on me, and excites me much more. The new picks include a great Sparklehorse song ( love it!) plus some dirty guitars ( love them !) and a super cool down with James Brown. ( Oh yeah ).

A is just full of good stuff.
It's before my time but I've been told, he never came back from Karangahape Road.

A, despite being safer than a bank vault encased in concrete and dropped at the bottom of the Mariana Trench, has too many superior songs (that one exceptionally awful song I wouldn't piss on if it was on fire notwithstanding)

No problem Martha, I'm surprised to have got past the preliminary round to be honest, so to have got to 3 or 4 votes away from the 3rd round is pretty good going! Thank you for your excellent organisation of the Cup this year, it's been excellent. And thank you for correctly stating that my list has been the best one this year!
Thanks also to those people of good taste who made positive comments on my list and dared to vote for it despite it being "obvious", "safe" or even "a parody" for some reason. Call me old fashioned but I thought the idea of this competition was to post a list of songs that you love, that you think others will love and will hopefully get you votes. I know my tastes are quite narrow compared to some on here, but I'm not going to post some Bolivian Acid Jazz or Alt-Country Metal shite just so the musos on hear can stroke their fucking chins over it.
And whilst I'm on ... abstain? Really? What kind of tosser looks at two lists of songs and can't decide between them, even if they think they are both crap lists? I have no problem with anyone who chose not to vote for my list or indeed list B. But to post "abstain" is the sign of a real bell end. Do you honestly think anyone on here gives a tiny shit about your tedious opinion? Don't be a dick and fucking vote one way or the other.
Finally, good luck to list B. I have a suspicion I know who it is, but I won't say anything. But no problem getting knocked out by a list with The Clash and the Snivelling Shits in it!
OK, rant over.
