Two very good lists, but B just has slightly more that I like.
It's before my time but I've been told, he never came back from Karangahape Road.

Teardrops doesn't work for me, but I guess it was going to be another youtube vid showing me the inner-label of a 45 from 1964. So I don't really want to hear anymore.
There's a live version of Wussy here, unfortunately: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iiaTgcb9ANQ

Jeez, 2 out of the 5 don't work from the new additions to list A, and I think I should be thankful for that. I listened to some of the Wussy, but it was as uninspiring as the guitarist's beard. At least it was modern in age, if not view.

It's kind of worrying that the most impressive track here is from 1954, by the biggest name in pop history. I mean, great track, but yeah, we all knew that. Nice to get something new and fresh, from just weeks ago in 1981 with that lovely Durutti Column track.

Chuck, Bo, Spector, Elvis, vinnie and the Dolls makes B a list I actually rather like rather than find easier to tolerate.

Big Thief- Vegas - Familiarity breeds liking. :D
Neil Young- Like a Hurricane -
Guided by Voices- Skills Like This - :D
Iggy Pop- Neighborhood Threat - :D
The Monkees - Long Title: Do I Have to Do This All Over Again - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ArauGDh-Edw
Wilco- Impossible Germany - Nels Cline!
Angel Olsen- Not Gonna Kill You  - :D She's growing on me.
Childish Gambino- Redbone - :D
Bobbie Gentry- He Made a Woman Out of Me - :D
Lynn Williams- Don’t Be Surprised - :D
The Teardrops- I’m Gonna Get You - :D
Pretty- Mustache in Your Face - :| Only okay. A minor psychedelic track.
The Syndicate- Egyptian Thing - :| Another minor psychedelic track.
Wussy- Donny’s Death Scene - :D Better. Nice bookend to the squall of "Like a Hurricane".
Nappy Brown- Coal Miner - :| Only okay. Minor soul.

List B:
Madonna - Material Girl - :| Familiarity breeds, if not contempt, apathy.
Donna Summer - Love's Unkind - Nope. I hate the production.
Sparks - Here In Heaven - More annoying the second time around.
Bonnie and The Treasures - Home of the Brave - :D Not Phil Spector, but a good facsimile.
Cerrone - Supernature - :D It has grown on me.
Eric B. & Rakim - Lyrics of Fury -
Meat Puppets - Two Rivers -
Chuck Berry - Memphis, Tennessee -
Chic - My Forbidden Lover - :D Not quite Mr. Green, but good.
William DeVaughn - Be Thankful For What You Got -
Bo Diddley – I Love You So -
The Friends of Distinction - :)
The Durutti Column – :D I got yer Durutti Column right here!
New York Dolls – Trash - :D
Elvis Presley – Blue Moon - My least favorite Elvis Sun track.

Okay, let's see...

Probably my favorite thing on either list is Nels Cline's guitar solo on the Wilco on A, but B has more Mr. Greens.

"Memphis, Tennessee" is one of the greatest rock and roll songs ever written.

Still sticking with B, though I guess I need to be patient with the occasional misstep, as it's obviously going to keep happening. This time it's the endless Durutti Column track (and I often like them).

I should give a shout out to A, though - they really upped their game on the new five. All semi-obscurities, but all nice discoveries. It made it closer.

I like a fair bit on A (Impossible Germany is ace) but the new adds don't really take it forward. Against it is the behemoth that is B, just about my favourite list in this whole shooting match. Fairly easily then...

I'm struggling for something to say about A. There are some good things there but a lot, particularly in the new five, that is just OK. B has more pizzazz and flair even if it isn't always in the right areas.
