B for me, although I don't think I've voted for it before.

Funny how Black Steel and Rattlesnakes have come up in other lists.

B's five new ones swing it for me. Madness! And what a song. And the Contours too. This list is growing on me.

Both lists show great variety, but A is markedly better.

Let U be the set of all united sets, K be the set of the kids and D be the set of things divided.
Then it follows that ∀ k ∈ K: K ∈ U ⇒ k ∉ D

Tough, tough call. In the end it came down to who had the most killer tracks.

This is tough, both lists appeal to different musical sides of me. B appeals to the taste for the direct delights of great pop, while A appeals to a desire to root around music's dark and dusty corners. Overall hits and misses on both -I heartily approve of B's pick of 'Life in Tokyo' but am much less enamoured of roots music bores like The Jayhawks. Meanwhile A was providing probably the most interesting journey of the cup, but has rather stalled with that five. Still garage obscurantism doesn't get any better than that Figures of Light track and there is already enough support for populism on here, so...

A
