A - because "Be my Baby" is the greatest single of all time, the supreme recording achievement.

A has its moments (nice Dutronc selection in its new five) but I find B's vision much more exciting, although I could really do without the Radiohead song. That's a great Nilsson pick.

It's got three of my picks from last year's Cup, so it's got my vote.
Let U be the set of all united sets, K be the set of the kids and D be the set of things divided.
Then it follows that ∀ k ∈ K: K ∈ U ⇒ k ∉ D

I like just about all of A, so its tough that it's against a great list in B.

B by the slimmest of margins. The longer these lists get the harder they are to separate- a few I love, a few I don't like, a few acknowledged classics, a few token new ones...

A for me... I definitely go for the fun ones and this has stuff I love - Wreckless Eric, Supergrass, N.E.R.D.

B - I love that you have put Sidewalk Serfer Girl in but I'm sorry, it's not enough for me.

There are a lot of strong women in this year's Cup. Loads of Shangri-Las, which is great!
