It sounds as if you're neglecting your BCB cup duties for the bright lights and sinful ways of the big city. ;)

Cheers for that. Let's hope they get their asses in gear soon!

toomanyhatz
martha
TRGP
Corporate Whore (who has PM'd me to say a list is on its way)
dang65
Bad Ambassador
Buddha B-Rex

Not many now!

I've been out tonight (in Kettering!) so I've haven't been able to keep a close eye on events here, but I will vote tomorrow night.

Please add the following songs to their lists, removing one well liked track.

toomanyhatz - Dylan & the Dead's Joey
martha - Culture Club's The War Song
TRGP - The Clash's King of the Road
Corporate Whore (who has PM'd me to say a list is on its way) Cher's If I Could Turn Back Time
dang65 - Lou Reed's Metal Machine Music side 2
Bad Ambassador - Phoebe from Friends's Smelly Cat
Buddha B-Rex REM and the Sesame Street Muppets - Furry Happy Monsters

That'll learn them for being tardy.

Lists now received from Martha and TRGP. Hopefully the other lists will be in before I put up the second set of ties tonight.

Replacing two songs as they are now another day later.
toomanyhatz - Dylan & the Dead's Joey and Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, “Don’t Pull Me Over”
Corporate Whore (who has PM'd me to say a list is on its way) Cher's If I Could Turn Back Time and Quad City DJ's C'mon Ride the Train
dang65 - Lou Reed's Metal Machine Music side 2 and Train's Hey Soul Sister
Bad Ambassador - Phoebe from Friends's Smelly Cat and Vanilla Ice's Ninja Rap
Buddha B-Rex REM and the Sesame Street Muppets - Furry Happy Monsters and 50 Cent featuring Ne-Yo's Have A Baby By Me

They'd better hurry, before I start posting links.
the Eagles suck.

I'm only waiting for one list, and the person has told me I'll have the list on Friday.

Ah! If we're being lenient like that, is it OK if I wait until my list is actually posted and then replace any songs that attract negative comments so that people can change their votes and I go through?

Oh God....it's actually Corporate Whore, who claims he's away on business at the moment (and to be fair he did warn me about this before the contest started). Short of discovering what hotel he's staying and marching up to his room demanding ten songs, I'm not sure what I can do here. Do we really want to go down the road of disqualifying players who miss the deadline?

Well as it's him we won't worry too much. He's bound to get knocked out in the first round anyway.

So we're allowed to vote before sending in a list? I wouldn't have thought.

Actually, you're allowed to vote even if you're not in the competition, and some non-participants are indeed voting.

Yeah, I know that, but if I'd known we were allowed to read lists to see what people were posting before we submitted, I might've done that. :)

For example, Harvey K-Tel, who voted for "poo" in several of the early matches.

He's only bitter for missing out so narrowly on that 96th spot in the comp.
