It's been at least 18 months since I last was in touch with Neil. As you know he's not well and frankly I've dreaded contacting him more recently, fearing the worst. I dearly miss him. Tomball has a population of 5,438 so whoever you called, I probably know him/her. Talking of Zappa: Junior was the last concert I attended pre-pandemic. It was in Austin, Feb 24th and of course he was fantastic, like his daddy would have been.

Robert, I must have fallen asleep on the couch when Cale was downstairs.

I called a doctor, actually! :D ( In Tomball)
You come at the Queen, you best not miss.

I know exactly what you mean. I just came across an email I'd sent him four years ago and to which he hadn't replied. I took a deep breath and wrote to him again, very scared of what I might hear.

He was fine!

Very pleased to hear from me (and John Rousetty) and sounding as chipper as you could hope, considering his health issues.

The four of us mush get together again when this covid crap is over. Just like before the first ever JU.
Bugger off.

Yep, absolutely. That would be great Rorsch, and something to very much look forward to for when this masked ordeal comes to an end. I'm not a very sentimental person (I think) but I quite often think back to that first get-together. Was it in 2001?? A lot of it is a bit of a blur but one thing I remember: Slider had Firth Of Fifth as ringtone.

I didn't even remember that people had customised ringtones that far back!
And never having heard Firth of Fifth, I wouldn't have recognised it anyway. I'll go and listen to it...
