This is what adam has to say, in case you don't wish to venture there
i see stephen has brought up 'soundchaser' aka 'richard rokster'.
unfortunately, he passed away due to COVID.
i know this because i was in contact while proof-reading his memoir, which was predominantly about his life in 70s dorset.
we had our disagreements, but started to get along... particularly after he told me about his project.
he loved music and had a supportive family.
if someone could pass this news onto stephen, it would be much appreciated.

Thats very sad to hear this. We had a lot of common ground with Rokster regarding music but hadn't noticed him a round for a very long time.
RIP

Indeed - he was a good lad
The nastiness aimed at the Prog Goons, at the time, got to him

Disappeared in Feb 21, reappeared briefly in Mar 22, then gone forever.
I think the shite was well before his initial disappearance.
I recall he got quite unpleasant towards me at one stage - I called him out on it asking what was going on, he then looked back on old posts and realised it was a case of mistaken identity, he had thought I was posting on Prog Corner as a spoofer! Profuse apologies followed!
Back in 2019 he asked me to read his evolving novel "Marbles" - I started it and didn't have the heart to tell him what I really thought about it... kept putting it off and then (to my recollection) he never posted on Prog Corner again. Whatever the reason, I felt guilty at the time for being chicken and have often wondered where he'd gone.
Now I know.
RIP Soundchaser.
