That speck is two years away, and Truss can do an awful lot of damage in that time. It is the usual thing - hard to build things up, easy to knock them down.

Just read that Johnson is getting booed and harangued by British tourists on holiday in Greece.
One was heard to shout: "Get back to work you fat ponce."

His not turning up at the Women's Football Euros and at the Commonwealth Games is supposedly because he didn't want to hear the crowd telling him to Go Procreate.

Seems reasonable.

He was pictured this morning coming down the boarding steps of a plane - presumable returning from hols. Carrie and (I guess) the nanny loaded down with luggage and brats while Boz nonchalantly follows with a small child’s ruck sack - what gallantry!

Meanwhile Gove was stranded at Athens Airport suffering a 30 hour delay cos easyJet can't get the staff - thanks in part to Brexit.
He was harangued over his Brexit lies by this woman - and rightly so

Isn't it time to put the House of Hanover back in charge?

As Yomp says, the omnishambles is now starting to look like a golden age

No doubt at some stage some Tory will say “if it isn’t hurting it isn’t working.”

Football fans have a chant for it:

“You don’t know what you’re doing!”

Johnson’s legacy becomes well-defined as Truss gets on the phone to Zelenskiy while her economic policies dissolve into a mirage.

It took Truss and KamiKwasi two weeks to crash the economy!

And yet again the top of the govt. has gone missing at a time of crisis.
And you have one govt representative saying that lots of countries have economic problems so nothing odd here, and another saying the markets are spooked by the thought of a Labour govt!

This administration is already showing itself beyond incompetent.

I wonder if tories will start defecting.
There's not a lot else they can do really. It must be a temptation especially in red wall seats. But all seats are looking shaky - on current form (according to latest poling) Johnson, Rees-Mogg and a bunch of others will lose their seats.
I mean, it's not like Truss has any sort of mandate for her bullshit. None of it was on the manifesto. And Starmer is practically a Blairite which is practically a tory anyway, so why not?
