What appalling news! He was funny as all fuck. Fucking hell.
Rest in peace, honey :(

I'm with you on that. Very sad news indeed. Another great Canadian comedian gone.

You will be missed, Norm.

Sad news indeed. A favorite of mine too.

He was one of my favorites, too. I loved his deadpan, blunt style of comedy.
Where would rock 'n' roll be without feedback?

A true one-off. R.I.P., Norm.

I remember liking him on SNL and on late night shows but I never took particular notice of him. Only in the last year or three, I don't know how it happened. It might've been watching Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, or maybe a stand up special, but I found myself watching A LOT of Norm Macdonald clips. He quickly became one of my favorites and I feel like I was just getting to know him. 61 is no age.

Aside from anything else - I thought he was extremely handsome.

David Letterman, speaking to the Washington Post in 2015, after his final shows (Macdonald did the show's last stand-up performance): “If we could have, we would have had Norm on every damn week. He is funny in a way that some people inhale and exhale. With others, you can tell the comedy, the humor, is considered. With Norm, he exudes it. It’s sort of a furnace in him because he’s so effortless. The combination of the delivery and his appearance and his intelligence. There may be people as funny as Norm, but I don’t know anybody who is funnier.”
