I'm one of the interlopers of 2008 :) Still look in daily even if I don't post much. It would be weird if this place were to disappear.

10 years from now most of us will be dead or waiting for a nappy-change.
For me Mojo4music was the best because it was so novel. But BCB ain't too bad either.

Is that so.

I'm currently watching Australian Andrew Hoy who is 62 competing in the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games Equestrian Team Eventing where they've just won silver.
This is his eighth games.
Nonsense to the aggressiveness, I've seen more aggression on the my little pony message board......I mean I was told.

I'm not as active as I once was...but MOJO4MUSIC and the folks there got me through some rough times, and I'm always appreciative of that... then when Jethro started this place, I came in. It's reassuring that it is always here, and I've tried to do right by it and towards most of the posters here, even though I'm generally much more active on Facebook nowadays. Cheers!

You hated Jakarta, Matty??
I loved it. But, truth be told, I didn't actually live there. I lived in Singapore (83-03) but my main customers were in Indonesia so I spent virtually half my time in mainly Jakarta but also Balikpapan, Samarinda, Palembang, Merak etc. etc. It was wonderful to leave Singapore behind and enter the slow pace of Indonesia. But it's now been 20 years ago since I was there, so 'tempo doeloe' for me. Fond memories. Haha, there was actually a restaurant on
Jalan Sudirman with that name, run by a Dutch guy who decided not to go back after "Merdeka".

Jakarta wasn't slow paced... it was crowded, filthy, busy as hell... lots of slimy get rich quick types of folks who traded on human misery as well... I used to go to Singapore for fresh air!
