I dunno but maybe this could turn China around, to lighten up a little. I mean, I would, I think. If I were behaving like an asshole and South Park made an episode skewering the fuck out of me - and getting it right - I might change my ways, how I deal with the rest of the world. Maybe. I dunno.

As I said, I don't know. It isn't simple. Here is an essay sympathetic to PRC and less so to HK.

If however Leader for Life Xi is so offended by this
he bans Winnie from the Chinese internet, then some serious lightening up needs to take place in Beijing.

There are many posters of winnie the pooh with Xi's face superimposed on all over HK. It'll probably rattle Beijing's feathers far more than any riot.

Re: South Park vs The People's Republic of China
As for the poll, I was fully behind the initial protests against the extradition bill but unfortunately the HK Government in their wisdom decided to completely ignore the wishes or 2 million peaceful protestors and carry on regardless until they started getting violent. Only then did they respond sending out the message to HK's youth that Government's only listen to violence which then quickly escalated. I am against violent protest and think ripping the city apart will only end bad for everyone but the Government really only have themselves to blame for this mess, and it really is a mess affecting everyone's day to day lives and countless small businesses including my own.
So actually non of the poll options suit my point of view.
