What're the odds that both eggs I cracked into the pan this morning had double yolks?

Eggs, onions and tomato hash. Coffee.

It's a bountiful tomato season and the stores here are practically giving them away!

Years ago, I used to stop by this chicken farm where you could get fresh eggs. Sometimes, you could get a whole dozen double-hooked eggs. I bought one once. Brought them into the city. When my girlfriend, a farmer’s daughter, came to visit me later, I proudly grabbed the dozen from the fridge and turned around to show her these beauties. Unfortunately, my hands fumbled and the whole kit and kaboodle went crashing to the floor. Hell of a lot of fun cleaning up 24 yolks from the floor, let me tell you.

Sounds lovely. But no bagel? Is there a shortage in your area? I can send you some from Montreal if you’re short. ;)

Thanks, I'm not short on bagels but long on fruit. My neighbor went up to Gravenhurst for wild blueberries a couple of days ago. My husband bought lots of blackberries and strawberries last night that have to be eaten. Not a chore but has to be done. No blooms or flowers on my blackberry vines yet but there is still hope. :)
