I guess it's logical for fluids. Friend of mine swears by Gatorade. Awful stuff, but seems to make him happy.

Gatorade probably has way more sugar than Pedialyte.

I don't think I get hang-overs. If I feel a bit below par I'll have a breakfast bulleit 95 Rye. The breakfast of Morons.

I tend to see these numbers and think that an 8 out of 10 is "more serious" than a 4 out of 10, say. So, not a matter of what one was trying to achieve but rather how much they are "affected" by.

Also, would you agree that the best cure for a hangover is food? I used to go to bread/baked goods whenever I had a whopper. If it was a weekend, of course, all bets were off, sadly. If it was a beer-induced hangover, people used to say that having one upon waking was a remedy of sorts.

As I said, I'm just being curious. I have too much time on my hands these days.

Hmm. I’ll come back to this when I’m at a PC and not on the phone.

I had my vaccine on Thursday and felt shit on Friday. I realised that this was the reaction to the jab until my wife pointed out I'd celebrated my new-found immunity by drinking anything I could lay my hands on. I blame the Brasso...

Level of discomfort. Food sometimes works, but increasingly I turn to nineteen pints of water and Lansoprazole.

Top notch German wheat beer. No hangover but it’s all I can taste. Ugh!

Vodka (Sainsburys own label) kept in the ice box with chilled Schweppes Indian tonic water (no other brand will do) and masses of ice and lemon is delicious and hangover free.
Nonsense to the aggressiveness, I've seen more aggression on the my little pony message board......I mean I was told.

Pretty much the way I was interpreting it. Like a fire alarm - a 1 calls for a local firetruck or two to put the smoke/flames out while a 5 (or 10 in this case) is an all out, all hands on deck disaster.

I have a new cocktail so I hope I’m not back here tomorrow.

Mezcal, Aperol, juice of,one lime, dusted with tajin. Absolutely delicious. About 3:1 on the Mezcal to Aperol and Tequila is fine if you don’t have Mezcal.

Well, I limited myself to one so I’m back but not damaged. It was delicious.

I was gonna say, that looks like hangover city! You may have avoided a bad situation!

Indeed. By the time I finished my drink it was starting to get late enough that I calibrated I didn’t have enough time to drink another plus hydrate so I decided to nix the idea of the second one and I’m glad I did.

meanwhile, i am actively planning on being hungover in the mornin.

i have avoided liquor entirely since last tuesday's listen, cuz i have had strange and flooded driver duties. i considered it over at noon today, after i got attila his second shot in gretna and got back home. this house is fully vaxxed, and i'm gonna celebrate tonight.

at least i can let the lad outta the attic now on a daily basis. progress.

Ha! I made another one of those mezcal mixtos and now playing the J. Geils Blood Shot Album (red vinyl version). The one song wouldn’t do. It turns out my ratio was overstated. It is 2 oz of Mezcal to just under an ounce of Aperol so less scary than it sounds. It doesn’t keep me from shaking my tail feathers though. Back To Get Ya blasting. Hope you can hear it kath.
