It’s an Estonian liqueur. It’s great, but more than one and the next day you feel like you’ve been kidnapped and buried by ants.

Yay! A pint of Tart Cherry and one of Gravenstein (local apple) worked for me.

I met Walter the rabbit, the new mascot at Two Rivers. He is super mellow. He licked my hand while I petted him! A real sweetheart.

On Easter Sunday no less! Did he leave you a chocolate egg? :D

Nice one, regardless.

They're easy to sweep up. Well formed. A friend of mine kept a house rabbit with no bother and great fun.

Lifting a glass of Gravenstein cider to Minnie. Now that I’m totally vaccinated I am finding it harder to stay away from the cidery. Still needing a mask for odering and moving about but it’s ok to sit at your table without one. I’m hoping things don’t reverse as I am ready yo bust out. Going to a live show on Monday (outdoors) at the cidery. It is supposed to be 90 F so weather will be conducive for an outdoor show.

Off out to a friend's terrace on the other side of the city for a few drinks.
Last time we went there we were amazed by the accuracy of the GPS on my wife's phone. When we had a look at where we'd walked on that day, it showed a perfectly straight line from our house to our friends'. On the way back the line zigzagged like a particularly intense sound wave.

Or like a drunk who can barely walk.

Me and the missus got our first shots of vaccine yesterday, so we celebrated with steaks and jumbo shrimps with mashed potatoes and kernel corn. We also shared a bottle of Castelgiocondo Brunello di Montalcino, which was our very first alcoholic drink of 2021. Now to put the cap back on that until our 2nd doses in August - that's when I'll be jumping off the wagon for real.

To be clear, we can only sit outside at the cider tasting room and you have to wear a mask if you leave your table or go inside to buy your pint. Fortunately for Vince he has a large area outside of his tasting room which is where. He has a small stage for the live shows and lots of picnic tables spread at least six feet apart. Restaurants would kill for the outdoor space he has.

Yep. There’s not enough supply in Canada to do everyone twice quickly so they’re doing four months between shots.
