Re: **WORST TASTE IN MUSIC**
In my case, I think I have the best taste in music (of course). But even by the exacting, rockist, BCB standards, I probably have both the best and the worst, simply because of the sheer size of my collection. 10,000 CDs cover an awful lot of ground.

He's got good taste, but terribly narrow.

Wait, my taste is worse than his - how come I'm not on the list?

Re: **WORST TASTE IN MUSIC**
So just round up the names of those you disagree with/dislike (in reality, feel challenged by) and put them in a completely irrelevant list? Nice one. I guess there are more strident ways to advertise your intentions - I just can't think of one at present.
I'd be worried if I was you Darkness Fish - looks like your name has been added by The Politburo.

Complete coincidence. Really.

Nah, it's ok, I think I'm here because of my genuinely awesome music taste. And I'm winning, take that, Googa!
Can I put in a word for fonz, too? Seems harsh to ignore him.

Darkness Fish gets a lot of the flak because he's the most high profile in his posting style, but I would put Joels and Algroth alongside him, although I think the latter two are even more arcane and extreme in their tastes than Fish. I think my tastes are almost opposite to all those guys so I have very little common ground with them musically. But I like the fact they stand up for what they like.

Interesting that you conflate the two, isn't it?

Terrible stuff.
Still, preferable to Rothers modern prog hell

I wasn't sure about all the nominees, but I know C is prog and DF is postpunk, neither genre of which I care for that much. I own a bit of prog, but even less postpunk - anyway, DF gets my vote AND my respect for sticking to his guns.

Re: **WORST TASTE IN MUSIC**
I really wanted to vote for DD, as he does have the most dismal taste in music. But Lord Rother is in a completely different class. Everything he likes is complete rubbish.
You don't like me...do you?
