Just about to go and collect Mikes parents to bring them here to my folks where they will meet for the first time. My stepmum is cooking and I wouldn't say she is stressed, but she is feverishly trying to elongate the dining table by stretching it with her fingertips.

At our wedding reception, my nuclear chemist father-in-law had one too many and hit the dancefloor wearing one of the bridesmaid's floppy hats.

I was standing next to my dad and he leaned over and said, "Hey, what's with that guy? He didn't seem like a drunk at the wedding party dinner."

"He's a scientist, what do you expect?" I told him. That seemed to quell his suspicions, or at least explain his actions.

All five. And I've been down the Megabowl to use their ball polishing machine to give my cranium that professional gleam. 8-)

Sounds painful, but then again, having a shiny set of testicles is of the utmost importance.

Just a thought, but I'd love to be a fly on the wall between Baron's and Minnie's family dinner tonight.

I'd probably get swatted for fly laughing though.

Real men don't need to "practice"...to real Northern men it just comes naturally...Baron is an honorary Northern man right now so he needn't practice :P

I'll talk to her. 8-)

I have a pretty strong hunch she'll change her opinion at around 9 pm on Saturday night after that conversation.

I don't think chips and scraps stand a chance against Fred.

With me, it would be reversed, but I don't think it will be with Mama Baron.
