I don't watch superhero films / series but my son recommended this to me as (he said) it is very different to the normal stuff.
And I think he's right.
The "supes" are absolutely not the heroes - they are a debauched corrupt lot in the main, run by an all-powerful operation obsessed by ratings, social media likes etc. and in it for the billions they can make. Despite the potential for good, nothing they do is for the actual good of humanity, it is ALL to line their pockets. (I am expecting Donald Trump to pop up as the overlord at any minute.)
I'm only 3 episodes in on Series 1, and the 4th series has just been completed so it has a way to go. I'm sure it tails off, they always do, but I have enjoyed what I've seen so far.
