I wish I could C. I watch films and then immediately forget what they are called.

I’ll try to find out the names of some I’ve watched recently.

Went the Day Well? - Alberto Cavalcanti (1942)

- Martin Scorsese is a huge fan of this British wartime movie -

Nonsense to the aggressiveness, I've seen more aggression on the my little pony message board......I mean I was told.

Good call - yes, I've seen that (but not recently) - based on the Graham Greene story I think

I'll check that out, my pick was Taken the 2008 Action/Thriller starring Liam Neeson

I watched it last - I had seen it before but still enjoyed it the second time

I discovered there is a Taken 2 and a Taken 3

I watched Taken 2 last night as well and it was good

Taken 3 tonight!

I note Forest Whitaker is in 3 - I like him

Good call. Taken 2 is an enjoyable sequel, i don't think i've seen the 3rd installment yet. I watched The Negotiator last night, which i soon realised i had watched before but still enjoyable , then another Liam Neeson film Non Stop

Poor Kimmie - she goes through a lot....!

Thanks for the other recommendation - I'm not sure I've watched that

I enjoyed The Accountant a few weeks back - excellent - a nice idea

Ben Affleck is superb

Bit obvious, but if you've never been tempted by the Die Hard and Lethal Weapon films they are still pretty good value.

Tom Cruise isn't everyone's cuppa but I find him very reliable.

All the Mission Impossible(s) are very watchable, as is The Firm, although that's a lot more cerebral than most of the others recommended. Added benefit is that it has Gene Hackman.

Good points, well made Bob

I'm looking forward to the release of Accountant 2

Mid-2025 apparently

The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare on Prime is fun to watch, action with clearly thumb in cheek humour, one of the actors in it is the hulk from Reacher. Only watched half so far but it’s fun and entertaining and the baddies get what they deserve.

Last night I watched a couple of Terence Hill/Bud Spencer movies from 1974 that I hadn't seen before. Watch Out, We're Mad!, though really stupid (even by Hill/Spencer movie standards), was ultimately more fun than Two Missionaries, which actually has a more-or-less coherent plot - but I greatly enjoyed them both. Unlike the movies that brought the pairing to international fame, neither one is a spaghetti western. (If you haven't seen any of their movies and don't mind spaghetti westerns, I'd recommend starting with They Call Me Trinity or its follow-up Trinity Is Still My Name.)
