I’ve recently watched all the Beverly Hills Cop films with Eddie Murphy.
Great fun!
It’s amazing to think the first one was released in 1984 and the recent one, released in 2024 - 40 years later!
Sadly Taggart (John Ashton) died last month

Re: Film recommendations
Always liked a decent horror film but my wife doesn’t so I usually have to watch them by myself. Watched ‘Immaculate’ on Prime early this morning - always up by 6:00a.m. Thought it was pretty good and it had Sydney Sweeney as the lead which makes it even more watchable.

Okay, it's fairly old (2012), so you may have already seen it, but Safe House - starring Denzel Washington, Ryan Reynolds, Sam Shepard et alia
I mention it now because Netflix are stopping viewing on 6th December
Get in quick if you haven't seen it
It is a corker!

The Substitute (Amazon Prime - two quid)
Good fun!
The Substitute is a 1996 American action thriller film directed by Robert Mandel and starring Tom Berenger, Ernie Hudson, Marc Anthony, William Forsythe, Raymond Cruz and Luis Guzmán. It was filmed at Miami Senior High School.
Jonathan Shale is a Vietnam War veteran and mercenary. After a botched covert operation in Cuba in which three men from his platoon were killed, he returns home to Miami. He surprises his girlfriend, Jane Hetzko, at her apartment; she welcomes him warmly. Hetzko is a schoolteacher at inner-city Columbus High School, an institution with a considerable gang problem.....
I really enjoyed it - nothing too heavy and plenty of chuckles amongst the baddie getting their comeuppance
