Starting it tomorrow. Thank goodness you like it, as Guardian less than complementary.Previous seasons, especially Season 2 have been exemplary

What does the Guardian know? Seems to me that when most reviewers like a first series and when it becomes really popular they then have to lambast the next series just to show how 'edgy' they are, bit like what happens to successful bands really. Unless reviews line up similarly I rarely take them seriously.

The first one is interesting - different but still pretty intense and not what you would normally expect. The second is back to normal.

Watched 3 episodes so far. After the relative calm of episode one, the next two .... already a nervous wreck :D

The series ebbs and flows from one episode to another, never quite sure what you are going to get. Still very watchable though.

Just starting season 1 on this, it is pretty good, but the idea that it is a comedy show seems risible.
There are barely smiles let alone guffaws. It is tense and intense.

It is a good show with an interesting premise and characters but a comedy it is not.

Saying that just allows them to give awards to another good drama while real comedies go ungarlanded
Moorcock, Moorcock, Michael Moorcock, you fervently moan.

It is not, agreed. And nobody is actually saying the show is a comedy. It's just a matter of categorisation, because the episodes are around 30 minutes long. It's ridiculous.

Well nobody apart from the people who run the Golden Globe TV awards where it won the best comedy

And also just about any other TV award in the US where it has been nominated for and won just about every comedy award going over the last few years.

Boils my piss.

The fact that it must be a comedy because the episodes are only 30 mins long is fucking stupid, and therefore Americans are fucking stupid

I rest my case
