Re: Tokyo Vice
It's very well paced, so don't expect 100mph action from the off

One we’re planning to watch.
Have you seen any of ‘Eric’ yet on Prime? I wasn’t sure about watching it but it’s really absorbing?

Re: Tokyo Vice
Hopefully tomorrow and then "Unbroken". 2 series of Tokyo Vice, 10 episodes in each. Gives a real insight into Japanese culture as well as blood, guts and more tattoos than a metal band

Re: Tokyo Vice
"Eric", as in the series with the guy with the difficult name who played Sherlock?
We watched it. Let me rephrase: the wife watched it while I was reading a book.
Very long-winded. Should have been a 1:30 hour movie. Interesting last 20 minutes, until it - of course - ends in a happy ending, America-style.
I give it 2 out of 5 stars.

I shouldn't contribute here; I'm way to critical, and hardly watch any movies or series. I like Midsommer Murders And Father Brown when Mrs. McCarthy was helping him. That's about it.

Re: Tokyo Vice
Finished "Eric". Some parts excellent, especially the police procedural, but Benedict was such an unsympathetic character and his Honey Monster hallucination such a distraction, I wasn't ever emotionally involved 7/10
SPOILER ALERT: The last 10 mins are absolute dross

Finished it last week and although we enjoyed it well enough I agree with much that you said Chris. I thought it began well and for the first part of the series it was very watchable and then from about half way it begins to deteriorate becomiong less believable and less absorbing. Nevertheless we had to watch through to the end.
