What's your favorite Kubrick?

Critics argue that LOLITA is one of Kubrick's most misunderstood and underrated works. Stylistically it marks the turning point from naturalism to the surrealism of Kubrick’s later films.

There was a "remake" of sorts in 1997, but although it was more faithful to the text of the novel, I still think Adrian Lyne can just fuck off. Tellingly, it has not been released on home video or television in the United States since 2003. I wonder why?
