Listen, mate, forget all this "poor Chas" sentiment. I studied English Literature at University and one term was dedicated to Dickens. Six f**** novels, six good stories which could have been novelettes, instead of wading through six pages as he described a doily. The programme is just fun and the only real reference to Oliver Twist is when he's described as a "wet lettuce".

I have no problem with people creating sequels, particularly if, as you say, they are fun.
I have a bit of a problem with people changing the facts of the original story though.
I kept thinking "swim as far as you can, swim as far as you can".
