Masters of the Air - Apple

Postby robertff » 26 Jan 2024, 19:58

Anyone looking forward to this?

I really enjoyed Band of Brothers and the equivalent Pacific series, hope this is as good as those two.

In Band of Brothers, there was a lot of stuff going on. A lot of history and a lot of drama.

2 episodes in Masters of the Air and I'm finding it a bit...well... pedestrian.
Predictably there's bound to be a problem with the wheels not descending when a plane tries to land - and there it is in episode 1. UK and American airmen fighting, yep - Episode 2.

I'll still watch all the other episodes but it does seem like a step backwards from B Of B.

Band iof Brothers was exceptional though wasn't it?

I half watched it - though I think I might revisit it as it's all on NowTV

I’ve watched the first two…. haven’t been inspired to return to it yet. I’ve found better things to watch.

It's not as good as I had hoped it would be but it's watchable, which is more that you can say for a lot of programmes.

It is getting better.
After initially being a bit dull, the drama is certainly picking up.
