Spiral

No thread on this currently, but the current series is the best ever. Fantastic characterisation and a gripping, and all too believable, plot. It's rare to find a crime series this intelligent. The best thing I've seen on tv for years. If you've not been watching then you must try and catch up on iplayer.

Oh God no spoilers please I'm saving the whole thing on DVR for a binge - can't stand the week's wait between cliffhangers, it's bad for my nerves :)
I'll leave until I've watched it

I'm an episode behind, so I don't want to see spoilers either! I think you'll really enjoy it though.

Well the characters spend most of their time circling around one another.

All good.

I’m finding Laure’s scenes in SCBU really moving.

He is deep in the merde, as the Guardian review said. The comments on the Guardian blog are great by the way.

Also going to watch it in its entirety. Previous seasons have been outstanding. Also, I'm in love with Audrey Fleurot.

Eighth and final series/season started in France last night. Hopefully won't be too many Saturdays before they's showing double episodes on BBC2

Will be sad to see it go, but my brother in law has already seen the last batch of shows and says the
quality has remained pretty consistent throughout.
