BCB 100 - The Pretty Things
I've just got SF Sorrow and a comp of earlier stuff, so I won't say anything about best album, but "She Says Good Morning" is splendid, one of the best psych pop songs I've ever heard.

Sorry to be a bore, but once again: 'Parachute' is one of the 10 or so finest albums ever made. If you don't own it, buy it today. And if you don't like it, I'll send you a CD of your choice. This is my personal guarantee.
Altho' their best song is 'Sun', off 'Emotions'.
A wonderful, wonderful band who excelled in both R n B and psych. They died very quickly after 'Parachute', tho', unfortunately.

Underfamiliar, but on Coan's recommendation (!) (among others), I'm gonna check out Parachute.

. Got Jimi's autograph after the show and went on to see him several times that year

You're not missing all that much, Andy.
Some good songs but basically sub-Stones UK R&B/garage rock mutating into psychedelia and finally ending up with the overrated "rock" album, Parachute.
The Animals were better.

Is that a cough?
Speaking of coughs, did you ever get those Suicide discs I sent you? It must have been a month ago, at least. Or did Pete intercept them?

Aye. Suppose so.
Get 'Parachute', Andy. And ignore Matt Wilson.
Or if you can wait 'til October, I'll give you a copy, and a comp. Great band that are difficult to dislike.

I'm sure someone over there can bake you something up for your next JU. I only have two Pretty Things CDs anyway.
Album SF Sorrow
Song Baron Saturday
I think I have Parachute as part of a double LP reissue with SF Sorrow, but I can't remember last time I played it. Will dust it off pronto. I also have Emotions, but I only played it once; wasn't too impressed. I'll try to re-investigate.

Where would rock 'n' roll be without feedback?
