March madness

Postby Brickyard Jack » 12 Mar 2022, 10:32

Selection Sunday tomorrow, and then at the end of the week one of great events of the sporting calendar. I love the first two rounds, with just so many games happening.

I always go with my heart, so if Xavier (my son’s middle name) are not in it, it will be OU, OSU, or some Texas team in that order.

Understand!
Always held a soft spot for Oregon and Saint Mary's- anyone outside of the Duke/NC/Gonzaga-trifecta.
I love good Cinderella-stories too!

Yes mine too - after a frenzy of pinsticking I have a championship game of Tennessee v Murray with Tennessee winning. Well, we'll see.

Rutgers got screwed. SHouldn't have been in the pay in game and then having to plan Notre Dame. I knew as the second over time hit midnight(aka St Pats day) there was no way Rutgers was going to win. F*uck the Irish!!!!!

lost 4 teams in the first round.

Considering they just sniped Bama it looks like a little bit more than luck.

See you next year, brackets.

You gotta believe that coach K has got a final date of destiny with NC though, don't you?
