I did d/load that but it d/loaded so quickly I' not sure what it was. It's not appeared in my programmes and I can't find it anywhere.

May be worth updating the first post - Comodo Firewall does now support Vista.

Young Ron (or other savvy readers of this thread),
I need a free (or cr**cked) program to convert music files bought from iTunes (.m4ps) to .mp3, thus removing the dreaded DRM nonsense.
Used to use MyFairTunes, but it doesn't support the latest version of the iTunes thing.
I've Googled and found a few applications, and they work well, but all the demo/trial versions are crippled, and they want money for full use! How very fucking dare they!
yrs in anticipation,
Hag.

Re: The BIG LIST OF USEFUL WINDOWS UTILITIES, V. THREE POINT OH
The only tools that did this kind of conversion in the past on files already downloaded exploited holes in the mechanism. There was also another exploit that worked during the download process, but that's also been blocked.
The only option to convert them is to burn them to CD and re-rip them. If you don't have the login details belonging to the files themselves, then you can't even do that.

Let me know if you still need help with that one, Hag. I can't remember if I did anything about it or not.

You did indeed - you PM'd to suggest Tunebite, and it works a treat. I hope I responded with thanks at the time. If not, gracious belated thanks.

Yeah, this is a great list.
I have a question... does CD Burner XP burn avi files to a DVD format I can watch on my regular TV? I know DVD Santa does but it costs. The free DVD Santa says it has a watermark on the file. Is that a huge watermark all over the image or just a wee corner thing?
Yes, yes that's at least two, maybe three. Sorry.
