Glad I’m not the only one Kath, sometimes it appears to seem so.

The Besnard Lakes Are The Roaring Night

It gave me one of my only two successes in the Prog Cup (you cloth eared fools!) so I owe it a listen. :D

And I enjoyed putting together my Elton John Top 20 tracks so this was next on my agenda.

A great album but 1973

[or do you mean the band formed in 1967? If that is the case: correct!]

It's an excellent album. I just find that if you own one album by them, that's all you need

In 1978, the filmmaker Kenneth Anger re-released his 1954 film Inauguration of the Pleasure Dome, using Eldorado as the soundtrack..

Works beautifully if you synch it up yourself

(Anger apparently left out Illusions in G Major because he felt it didn't fit.)

indeed, it is.

my brother's fave ELO album, and he was the one who turned me onto em.

"can't get it out of my head" is just a great track.

Where would rock 'n' roll be without feedback?

what michael des barres said:

"I adored Tawny. She was a brilliant comedienne & actress, not just a gorgeous girl dancing on a rock n roll car.. witty, charming and super smart."

She was a bright spot on "The New WKRP in Cincinnati" on which they both starred.

First up today, real prog not pretending to be anything else, real prog doing exactly what it says on the 'tin'.

This would have been a superb album but for the amazingly shoddy track towards the end of side one, namely The Sheriff - what were they thinking, were they having a laugh, or had they just run out of ideas?

Yeah, they had a silly couple on Tarkus as well didn’t they, Jeremy Bender and Are You Ready Eddie - just shoddy material.
