Okay, we are all very passionate about music - obviously, we’ve spent twenty plus years in this place discussing it on a regular basis.
We all have different tastes and champion different bands/artistes
But sometimes the majority just don’t seem to ‘get it’ like you do
So what band/artiste would you champion, despite the adversity from the majority, and why?

I'll bite. I get that my tastes aren't generally mainstream. I know that music nerds, let alone the general public at large aren't going to go wild over the crushing noise of Aufgehoben or abstract ambient folk of The Blithe Sons.
But I'll never understand why Paavoharju aren't world famous, after releasing something as gorgeous as this:
Or why Radial Spangle/The Charm Pops aren't at least underground/indie legends of any note whatsoever:

I don't have any problem with the second one here Darkness it's very pleasant but to be honest it's just not my thing anymore. I already have quite a lot of floaty, ambient, waves of sound type of music but hardly ever play any of it - just don't like it much. As for the first it really isn't my type of music, the voice is enough to put me off. Nevertheless, you like it and that's fine and why should you give a fig for what I think?
Clearly, from the previous lists that have been posted recently we are pretty far apart with our music tastes but that's what makes the world go round isn't it?

I'm not answering this, just in case there are any passing physicists taking the question too literally.

I'll stick with Todd. Song writer, producer, performer, instrumentalist, a CV that covers pop, blue eyed soul, torch ballads, rock, metal, prog .....he's a one man record collection.

Could be my young grandson you’re talking about here, he takes everything literally - he’s not a physicist though, although he has already stated he wants to be a scientist.

Thanks for posting these - I listened to both (well, ten minutes of the second)
I enjoyed both (although I wasn't too keen on the first's vocals) and reckon they'd listened to quite a lot of Faust.
The first track on the second was very good - it reminded me of a cross between Built to Spill and Ride.
I couldn't imagine buying either because I haven't got enough time to play the albums I bought 50 years ago let alone NEW MUSIC.
Thanks again for posting - I'm always prepared to listen to new stuff.....
