Disclaimer - Don't suppose I've heard this album since '77. Didn't like it at all and purposely avoided it as much as possible. Trying to listen to it tonight without bringing some of my teenage bias against it & point out that I've warmed to earlier Floyd albums considerably over the years.

I have the 2018 remix on blu-ray.
I have never listened to the remix. It also has the original 1977 mix.
I started with the remix tonight. No way - it is too jarring, since I know the album so well.
Nothing drastic, they bring the acoustic guitars up and isolate/bring the vocals forward.
But it is too alarming for this old fan.
I returned to the original mix.
I will set time aside with the remix at a future juncture.

Is this Gilmour or Snowy White? Doesn't quite sound like typical Gilmour.
