I'm just going to point out that that list doesn't have Neu! 75 in it, and is therefore worthless.
Terrible year though.

Many omissions!
Bundles by Soft Machine, Rubycon by Tangerine Dream and Kraftwerk’s Radio-Activity are three that immediately come to mind

Neu & Kraftwerk should be in there. TD perhaps, the Softies certainly not (one of their weaker efforts).
Biggest omission in my book: Robert Wyatt - Ruth is Stranger Than Richard.

That's ridiculous!
What are the other weak ones then Muddy?
[other than the last - which was basically a Sir Karl solo album with Marshall on tubs]

C, your response suggests that you too think that Bundles isn't that great. And so you should, my friend. Call a spade a spade.
But I admit: it's not as bad as "Softs", which I bought only a few weeks ago. And that Cockayne rubbish needs to be avoided at all times.
Of course: it's still one of my favorite bands of all times, and beyond.

Re: 100 Greatest Albums of 1975
Kate & Anna McGarrigle's eponymous album is most definitely missing. Guess Keith Jarrett's Koln Concert & Miles Davis' Agharta are outside the scope of the list and in a personal list I'd includer Emmylou Harris' Elite Hotel.
Agree that the afore mentioned Neu '75, Ommadawn & Bundles should have been included.

Re: 100 Greatest Albums of 1975
I own practically nothing from 1975, this is my top 8:
1. Kraftwerk - Radio-Activity
2. Neu! - Neu! 75
3. Harmonia - Deluxe
4. Lou Reed - Metal Machine Music
5. Popol Vuh - Das Hohelied Salomos
6. Rahsaan Roland Kirk - The Case of the 3 Sided Dream in Audio Color
7. Barclay James Harvest - Time Honoured Ghosts
8. John Cale - Helen of Troy
I don't own proper copies of anything else from 1975.

Half of that list is dreadful slop. And Another Green World, Radioactivity and Neu! 75 should absolutely be there.

Totally agree. The list is very US centric and there's way too much soul/disco/funk/r'n'b
