There some excellent albums in there
Good lad
I saw The Tubes at Knebworth in 1978 supporting Frank Zappa, with Peter Gabriel, The Boomtown Rats and Dave Edmund's Rock Pile
Great stuff
The extended Crimso USA is superb - so much excellent material
A great ZZ Top album too - one of my faves - I saw them live once - great fun
Budgie - what great band. I saw them a couple of times once supporting Ozzy's Blizzard of Oz (the latter were so fucquing loud) and the first time in a tiny local venue in 1971. Superb
There are too many other excellent albums there to mention individually but I've no time for Queen and Jeff Beck's albums were always a disappointment
How many of those bands have you seen live or are you far too young...?!

Much too young to have seen any of these near their 70's peak. I caught a fun show by The Kinks at the peak of the 80's comeback. I saw Neil Young with Crazy Horse in the early 90's when his career was resurging with his grunge association. I saw the double trio formation of King Crimson in the mid-90s, which you may not consider true King Crimson but no one could deny was an incredible array of musicians. I saw Tubes in an 80's nostalgia review playing two or three of their 80's hits. Pretty disappointing knowing they had much better material, but it was nearly all of the classic lineup at least. I've seen Rush twice, Roger Waters several times, Jeff Beck with ZZ Top, Sparks as a duet, The Dictators without Andy Shernoff, UFO without Michael Schenker, Queen without Freddie Mercury, and Black Sabbath without Bill, all in this century, and for the most part the shows were very enjoyable.

Nice post - you are making me feel absolutely ancient…!!
I only saw Neil Young solo once and that was open air at Finsbury Park supported by Pearl Jam
I'd forgotten I'd seen James and Teenage Fan Club - completely unmemorable

I love Teenage Fanclub, but the were one of the worst live acts I've ever seen.
