Good afternoon/evening.
I raise my mug to wish you good health and happiness, and as a toast to absent friends.

Evening!
Just discovered John Mayall's middle name was Brumwell, first time I've come across that.
Enjoying the sound of this line-up.

Not sure it was, though definitely voted positively for it. Thought it Chris' choice.

Yes - a lovely sound from 1997
I saw them on this tour with Buddy Whittington on guitar, John Paulus on bass, Tommy Eyre on the organ and Joe Yela on tubs

Last time I saw them was when they played support to B.B. King, circa '99.
Both Mayall and King were excellent.
Sadly, when I saw King two years later he'd gone a bit down hill and I made the decision not to see him again - preserve my memories of one of the finest blues performers I've seen.

Buddy Whittington is excellent on guitar.
Snap Skipper!
Played with Mayall fifteen years and was the last Bluesbreaker axeman.
Respect.

Hoping she's OK, and it's circumstances that prevent her from being here.
- Reminds me, I'm not sure if I'll make it this Friday. Grandson's birthday and we're going to have a meal at his other grand parents. Know idea what time we'll get away, hoping it won't be too late.

I agree with the reviews.
The songs might be nostalgic piffle at times, but the music fits like a treasured pair of sneakers.
