He was quite amused when he read the beautifully written posts he had supposedly written about Gregory and ELP on Mojo4music back in the good old days. I can take no credit for them but I know a man who can.

I’m a new Crimson convert, so I can’t say I’m too affected by this sad news. I googled him a couple of weeks ago, to try and learn about the fallout from his KC sacking.
The DGM website wasn’t at all disparaging. Maybe him and Fripp weren’t on bad terms. I don’t know.

I’ve sunk a lot of time and money into my latest obsession, and it’s paying off.


What I’m learning about fripp is COMMITMENT!


It helps that I now live in Bournemouth, so the biographical details are relatable.
Fripp,, Levin, and Bruford are monsters; Belew is on his own. Frank knew how to pick ‘em.



I reckon Frank’s, not Bowie’s patronage, gave Belew the affirmation.

Have you heard/got USA the extended version?

That is essential. It shows off the improvisational skills of the lads - tracks nestled between album tracks

The track Trio on the part live album Starless & Bible Black is an improvised track credited to all the members of the band - including Bruford who does not contribute anything - not even a cymbal crash!

He was waiting to join in but found the track so beautiful that he decided to abstain
