Great album, though I say so myself. Their other collaboration, Ragged Kingdom is equally as good. I was very hard pressed between deciding which to nominate.

Seen the film once - '78 ish, Student's Union Liverpool Uni. Paired with Jimi Hendrix (a film about), which was the real reason I went. Think I'd enjoy it more now.

So do I.

I assumed for decades that on Ummagumma the band were saying farewell to these old tunes.

I had no idea that more than two years later they were still featuring them in their live shows.

In fact the Early Years box contains many film and audio only versions of these tracks.

I am not complaining, as I love them
