This is an excellent album.

Can't believe it has escaped me so far.

I'm astonished by how many artists and albums you're already familiar with - there just isn't time for it all!

But I have had several Jackie McLean patches where I feverishly sought out his stuff.

Pre Spotify, admittedly.

His Prestige albums were one of my first jazz loves, and I've still not really heard his work from the 70s and later.
