Do the Sex Pistols count, or are we counting The Great Rock n' Roll Swindle?

I wouldn’t count TGRnRS as a second album by them. A soundtrack album with artists other than the Pistols, (Black Arabs, Malcy doing ‘You Need Hands’), studio outtakes and stuff that Jones and Cook did with Biggs, bit of Sid.

Although people could say Bollocks wasn’t a full band album, with Jones also playing bass on most of the tracks (except Anarchy (Matlock) and bit of Sid plonking on Bodies and GSTQ) so in that case Swindle could be classed as their 2nd.
Give a shit or be a shit.

I would very much like to agree, Stephen. But I can't.

As far as I know the story it was Ginger Baker who wormed his way into the band. A big mistake by Steve and Eric.

'Do what you like' doesn't have a place on the album. Also, the Buddy Holly cover doesn't sit well.

The other four songs are marvelous of course.

I wish they had spend more time writing a couple of more songs.

That is why (and proof) I love their much later live album

Blimey, they took their time with a follow up. However, the quandry even des Cartes would struggle with ....Is Quatermass 1 a different entity to Quatermass 2? The old CSN/CSNY argument?

It maybe, but did Quatermass 1 ever exist?

Notwithstanding it’s a shame they did what they did

Underwood trying to cash in I think

Cracking album

Yes we can

And Layla too

I meant to include ‘studio’ in the title but forgot to go back to include it

I’ll do it now. No harm done

Seahorses - corker? It was okay.
Them Crooked Vultures - Josh Homme, John Paul Jones and Dave Grohl - they made a pretty good racket.
