I saw them live at the time of Mother Focus and Jan’s exit

Phillip Catherine is/was a great jazz guitarist but wan’t quite up to Jan’s standard regarding ‘fitting in’

I saw a couple of decades later with Yomtepi and Neil Jung.

Pierre was back in the band with van Leer - they were excellent

Have I told you I know someone who was part of the Audience recorded with Ginger Baker at the Albert Hall on Jan 15th 1970? Have to prise the information from him, but I believe it to be true.

Full of music

van Leer is so proficient on both organ and flute

His vocals, of course, are something else!

Can’t wait to see them this summer.
Besides a few years ago they haven’t played America since 72 .


Love this album have it on vinyl since the 70’s

Have a couple of his albums with Larry Coryell that are excellent in their way, but there's nothing on them that makes me think he would be able to soar - or speak - in the way that Jan is able to make his guitar.
